Dublin, VA
Zaxx Tech Solutions installs professional Starlink systems and PoE security cameras across Dublin, VA and Pulaski County — with a specialty in rural properties, large lots, farms and outbuildings near Claytor Lake and the New River Valley Airport corridor.
Dublin blends established neighborhoods, rural acreage and a growing commercial base along the I-81 and Route 100 corridors — and all of it benefits from professional Starlink and camera work. Zaxx Tech Solutions leads with permanent Starlink installation and reliable PoE security cameras for Dublin and the surrounding parts of Pulaski County.
Because so many Dublin-area properties sit on large lots, near Claytor Lake, or out toward the countryside, we do a lot of rural Starlink installs, long cable runs to shops and barns, and whole-property WiFi where a single router was never going to reach. On the commercial side, the businesses near the airport and Volvo corridor rely on us for camera coverage and structured cabling.
Rural Dublin is Starlink country — many properties here have no real cable or fiber option. We find the clearest sky view (often a pole mount clear of the tree line), install it solid, and set up WiFi so the whole property, not just one room, gets fast internet. Every install ends with a speed test.
On large Dublin lots we frequently use pole and non-penetrating mounts to clear tall trees. Every dish is mounted permanently, grounded and surge-protected, and sealed to ride out the weather that rolls across the county.
Long runs are the norm out here — dish to house, house to shop. We route cable cleanly with sealed entries and, where needed, buried or aerial runs to outbuildings, so nothing is left exposed or draped through a window.
A single router doesn’t cover a Dublin farmhouse plus the yard and shop. We integrate Starlink or existing internet with wired-backhaul mesh and outdoor access points so coverage reaches every corner of the property.
This is a Dublin specialty. Barns, detached shops, garages and second homes on the property all get real connectivity — point-to-point wireless bridges or buried cable — so they have WiFi and can run their own cameras.
For Dublin homes and farms, we install PoE camera systems that cover the house, driveway, gates and equipment areas, with color night vision and phone alerts. On big properties, that visibility around outbuildings and access points is a real deterrent.
Dublin’s commercial and industrial businesses near the airport and Route 100 get multi-camera PoE coverage of entrances, yards, loading areas and gates, recorded to a scalable NVR with remote access for owners and managers.
We hardwire every camera with Power-over-Ethernet — one Cat6 run for power and data — which matters even more on rural Dublin properties where WiFi cameras at the edge of coverage would constantly drop. PoE just keeps recording.
Footage records locally to an NVR you own, so there are no monthly cloud fees — and no dependence on a cellular signal that’s weak out in the county. We size storage for weeks of retention with fast event search.
Keep an eye on the whole property — house, barn, gate — from your phone anywhere. We set up secure remote access and alerts, which is ideal for owners who travel or manage acreage they aren’t always standing on.
We regularly upgrade Dublin properties from patchy WiFi-camera kits to reliable hardwired PoE, add cameras to existing systems as a property grows, and extend coverage to outbuildings that were never wired the first time.
Everything runs on clean Cat6/Cat6A. We handle long low-voltage runs to outbuildings, camera and access-point cabling, and new-construction prewire for the homes going up around Dublin and Claytor Lake.
A few real jobs from our team — actual installs, not stock photos.
