Pulaski, VA
Zaxx Tech Solutions installs professional Starlink systems and PoE security cameras throughout Pulaski, VA and Pulaski County — from downtown business cameras to rural and mountain-property Starlink near Draper, Claytor Lake and the surrounding countryside.
Pulaski County combines a historic town center with plenty of rural and mountain land, so the technology needs here run the full range — from downtown business camera systems to a Starlink dish on a property tucked up a mountain road. Zaxx Tech Solutions leads with permanent Starlink installation and reliable PoE security cameras across Pulaski and the county.
We do a lot of Starlink and rural WiFi work around Pulaski, Draper and toward Claytor Lake, where traditional internet is spotty or nonexistent. In town, we install camera systems and structured cabling for local businesses, shops and homes along and around Main Street.
For many Pulaski County properties, Starlink is the only fast internet available — so getting the install right is everything. We analyze the sky view around the mountains and tree lines, set the dish where it stays clear, and configure WiFi for full coverage, then verify speeds with a test.
Mountain and rural Pulaski properties often need pole or elevated mounts to clear ridgeline trees. We mount permanently, ground and surge-protect every dish, and seal it against the wind and weather that come off the higher ground.
From a dish on a hillside down to the house, cable routing has to be done right. We seal exterior entries, conceal interior runs and handle long or buried runs to outbuildings — no cord snaking through a window frame.
A Pulaski farmhouse or mountain home needs more than one router. We integrate Starlink or existing internet with wired-backhaul mesh and outdoor access points so WiFi reaches the whole house, the porch and the yard.
Shops, barns, garages and cabins on Pulaski County land almost always start with no signal. We bridge WiFi or run cable so those buildings get real internet and can run their own cameras — useful on properties spread across acreage.
For Pulaski homes — in town and rural — we install PoE camera systems covering entries, driveways, gates and outbuildings, with color night vision and phone alerts. On remote properties, camera coverage around the perimeter is a genuine deterrent.
Pulaski’s downtown shops, offices and industrial businesses get multi-camera PoE systems covering entrances, registers, yards and loading areas, recorded to a scalable NVR with remote access for owners and managers.
We hardwire cameras with Power-over-Ethernet — one Cat6 cable for power and data — which is critical on rural Pulaski properties where WiFi cameras at the edge of coverage would drop constantly. PoE keeps footage rolling.
Footage records locally to an NVR you own — no monthly cloud fees and no dependence on the weak cell signal common in the county. We size retention for weeks with quick motion search.
Watch your Pulaski property — downtown storefront or mountain home — live from your phone anywhere. We set up secure remote access, motion/person alerts and multi-location viewing for owners with more than one property.
We upgrade a lot of Pulaski County properties from unreliable WiFi-camera kits to hardwired PoE, add cameras as needs grow, fix blind spots, and extend coverage to outbuildings and gates that were never wired originally.
Clean Cat6/Cat6A is the backbone. We run camera and access-point cabling, downtown business data drops, and long low-voltage runs to the outbuildings and detached spaces common on Pulaski County properties.
A few real jobs from our team — actual installs, not stock photos.
