The objective
Prewire a new-construction home for reliable wired internet, Wi-Fi access points and future smart-home devices before the walls were closed in.
Challenges
- Cabling had to be pulled and secured before drywall on the builder’s schedule
- Runs needed to stay clear of electrical (Romex) to avoid interference
- Every room and work area needed dependable wired connectivity

- Home-run Cat6 data drops to rooms, offices and work areas
- Wi-Fi access point drops positioned for whole-home coverage
- Cabling routed cleanly through joists and stud bays
- Runs kept separated from electrical and secured for the trades that follow
- All cabling home-run back to a central media location

Our approach
We coordinated with the build schedule to pull all low-voltage cabling during rough-in, keeping bundles neat and separated from electrical so the runs are protected and easy to terminate at trim-out.
The result
The home was left fully prewired for wired internet, strong Wi-Fi and future technology — documented and ready for a clean finish.
