Security Camera Installation, Roanoke, VA
Zaxx Tech Solutions designs and installs hardwired PoE camera systems for Roanoke homes and businesses: clean Cat6 wiring, a local NVR you own, and live viewing on your phone.
Looking for a professional security camera installer in Roanoke, VA? We are a licensed, insured low-voltage and security company based in Radford, and we travel up I-81 to the Roanoke Valley for camera installations, upgrades and repairs. You deal with the same small crew from the walk-through to the final test.
Roanoke properties are a mix of older homes with plaster walls and tight attics, busy commercial corridors and newer subdivisions out in Roanoke County. That changes how cable gets run and where cameras go. We plan each system around the building in front of us, not a one-size kit, and we install the cameras, the wiring and the recorder ourselves. We are installers, not a box store.
Older homes in neighborhoods like Raleigh Court, Grandin and South Roanoke often have plaster walls, finished ceilings and limited attic access. We route Cat6 through the cleanest available path (attic, basement, soffit or exterior raceway painted to match) so the system looks intentional, not bolted on.
For storefronts, restaurants, offices and shops along Roanoke's commercial corridors, we cover registers, entrances, stock areas and parking with cameras chosen for each view. Owners and managers get secure remote access, and footage is recorded locally so it is there when you need it for an incident or insurance claim.
Every camera gets its own Cat6 run that carries power and video on one cable. No batteries, no WiFi dropouts. Cameras record to a network video recorder on site, with no required monthly fees.
Already have a system? We add cameras, replace failing analog setups with PoE, and fix cameras that keep going offline. We regularly work on Reolink systems and other common brands we did not originally install.
A few real jobs from our team — actual installs, not stock photos.
